Who says-Its hard to die when you want to? Not in Bangladesh it aint. You just pay a visit over here, venture here and their without an A.C car and a gargentual bank ballance, become a bit drowsey, try crossing the road or doing something creative and “VoIlA” your wish has been granted…you are now officially DEAD. Why today a gal from Dhaka University while visiting her sick brother tried to embrace the polypeptide under the tire of a Bus. Not much of a problem though…its just that she’s dead…50 or more DU students were wounded….the police broke the wall of the Public Library deliberately….and .we are probably gonna face another hartal and all hail will break loose again. Well what happened today?? Hmm lets see:-

  • Today was my zoology exam…and it was good…but the problem is we were forced to take detours after detours because the students and the police were battling it out like neonethical men from the prehistoric era(with live sticks and stones…amazing!! Nah..its BD man are you on weeds or something?)

There are times when darkness surrounds us…there are times when all hope is lost…its time like those that I like to utter the literary works of the greatest protege Bangladesh have ever had…that is the Rebellious, the proud sometimes insolent and the highly untamed man called Nazrul…. today on his birthday… as i gaze a little more upon his works….such bewilderment isnAZRUL conceived in an instant…… A shining star that dared to be different…a bengali that dared to be enigmatic and energetic…a man who dared to keep off religius hatred and insanity…yet his works are valuable to both the Hindus(the shama sangit) and the Muslim’s(the Ham’d nat….)….its time to requiem for the forgotten Supernova…its time to live upto his expectations….
Oh well with us bengali youths these days (including me) who when browsing the net brows for gametengial copulation(dont tell me to use the exact word)….when mailing others, mail in the foulest language possible…when watching films try to watch the most vile, the most twisted the most sick works of art…when talking prefer to use reference to other culture than their own…the future seems bleak…it seems tarnished….but you know what the Greatest…kick ass poetic Mofo—that is Kazi Nazrul Islam said bout such times (more…)

Another day passed , another day lost in the oblivion , another step toward death..and as Quran says: Kullu nafsin jaikatul maut or “Thou shall die every living being”… one day or another grim-reaper would be standing there silently across the bend in the road. Oh well lets see what i did today(not that i’m living a life like Donald Trump):-

  • Finished reading optics , magnetic flux and Einstein theory about photo-electric effect.
  • Listened to ‘Feel good inc” by the gorillaz and “Ami sopno dekhbo bole” by Moushumi bhoumick and like always fell instantly in love with em.
  • Ate rice with pangash , boroi-er-achar, extremely fat and disgusting Farm-chickens (cant help is my dad’s a NO-1 fan of such two legged hairy aves), misti-kumra mass with little crustaceans(yeah… they aren’t prawn but something like it)..and drank plain ole H2O(believe me there aint any beer better than the beer that god sent for us that is H2o)
  • Listened to the screeches of cars and trucks infron of our house while it was raining like hell.
  • Drank some caffeine without finding out the ants swimming in it(yeah they probably thought it was a massive Jacuzzi or something like that)

Gametogenesis is a simple process by which sometimes simple and not-so-developed life forms(mostly plants) regenerate…well I guess there’s one other exception…that is us Bangladeshis have brain cells that divide in the same way too. One may ask , ” WHAT THE HELL PISSED YOU OFF THIS TIME, PSYCHO?”…well let me tell it this way, OUR HIGHER SECONDARY EXAM WAS CANCELLED DUE TO SOME POLITICALLY MUTILATED GUY’S DEATH AT THE HANDS OF THUGS WHO HE DIDN’T PAID RECENTLY AFTER THEY FOLLOWED HIS ORDER AND PROBABLY TERMINATED ONE OF HIS OPPONENTS (this is just a speculation, but probably a right one)…and the opposition called in their(well no matter which party goes to the opposition they always befriend this guy) infamous buddy ‘HARTAL’ or ‘national strike

    Cancelled

So here are the facts right:-

  • The guy who was killed was a local opposition leader
  • The guys who busted him was some thugs from some other party
  • The guys who supported the dead dude caused a damage of at least
50000tk as a sign of protest against the death (more…)

    Main Entry: 2rape
    Function: transitive verb
    Inflected Form(s): raped; rap·ing
Etymology: Middle English, from Latin rapere
1 a archaic : to seize and take away by force b : DESPOIL
2 : to commit rape on
    - rap·er noun
    - rap·ist /’rA-pist/ noun

This is what Mariam & Webster says…big deal..do they even know that even life-less beings can be raped intentionally as well? Check out the road..it used to be a mellow, virgin, pitch covered pathway for many days….but not any

Yeah..the English exam today was long and drab…with a question that wasen’t so favourable..still with my (AHEM!) superior intellect i was able to pull out quite a good show…..so its score one for the A-man…still 11 more phazes of hell to counter with… i cant believe when i see some old gay/lesbian authoritative figure from the education board pose infront of the Tv camera with enough makeup to fill-up grand canyon and say stuff like:-

The exam was really easy, the question was fair, we almost peed in our pants when we saw how hard they were We could have done them in the blink of an eye..BLAH..BLAH…BLAH..we are the best…MORE BLAH….we are BAD ASS DUDES….Blah to the power ‘e’….etc

where as most of the students even the nerds who are devoid of any earthly manner were quite surprised with the question…..big deal….well things turned out pretty well in the end… lets see if the quote by someguy saying “ALL IS WELL THAT ENDS WELL” prevails or not….

The judgement day is here…the final exam that we prepared for two years is here at our doorstep counting the clock backward. Phobia sets in , fear grins its evil smile…..still hope and light hangs like a dim-dead-dodo.Only the future shall delineate what it holds for me in the secrecy of its womb.

Last night i had a dream….a dream where those memoirs of the past started swirling in a never ending vortex. My subconscious presumed the worst from my previous experience in watching Discovery channel..”Was I dying?”…but it seemed so heavenly..how can death be so much gleeful? Those great moments of my life that i’d not even trade for the flying Dutchman’s ship were passing by…those happy hours beside the bank of river brahmaputra, back when there were no statics-dynamics, no trig or carshoff’s law…my cycling hours with my friends..the green Meadows with tiny brick roads in B.A.U

So i was reading Jahir Raihan’s ” Ekushey Golpo” that is in our syllabus…..after reading for sometimes i thought , ‘ This is bull crap, why should we read something that has become almost obsolete in nature. Why no one really cares about liberation or those who were slaughtered because they strived for it. Everything with a relation to the 1971 war now-a-days are just contextualized text-book items. Politicians from different parties praise the war-veterans and those victimized by the cruelty of the Paks but thats only thought provoking flamboyant speeches…no one sees liberation war veterans (well not those in political parties) driving a nice car or living in a nice house do they? Instead they beg for food ,drive begging carts, die from want of medicine , medical attention and money…Instead we have a butcher as our agriculture minister, a leading woman who pays more attention to her hair than Gwneath Paltrow and another leading woman who talks about improving education in bangladesh and sends her ‘Victorious’ son to the states to study so that the loo-air of BD cant touch him’

They say picture depict the reality and even the dead can talk through the B/W panorama of a silver-halide photo-strip…so do they?(this is an actual photograph from Rayerbajar-mass slaughter site)

It was 3:48 am… i was awake reading how money is a great thing in one comprehension and how it spoiled your axons and dendrites in another (thats how unseen English comprehensions are here in BD)…suddenly this humongous wind started blowing and the next thing you know all hell was breaking loose outside….thats when i took the pic with my canon-A60. i dunno how this lightning was captured cuz this is just a camera for armatures, not some hyper-speed Minolta that catches even tomahawk missile entrails.

    light

I’ve always liked lightnings…..5000volts of energy piercing through dead of night striking furiously at the ground (or maybe someone’s head)…the sheer rage, aggression, dynamics and the swirly figure…. i wish today’s youth(including me) could have been so…metaphorically speaking off-course.Still if there was a lightning like figure wish such mesmerising characteristics…if there was only one..(SIGH!) unfortunately none has appeared…none will if the condition remains stagnant in our country…too much AATLAMI? well might be…keeekkee..
