So i was reading Jahir Raihan’s ” Ekushey Golpo” that is in our syllabus…..after reading for sometimes i thought , ‘ This is bull crap, why should we read something that has become almost obsolete in nature. Why no one really cares about liberation or those who were slaughtered because they strived for it. Everything with a relation to the 1971 war now-a-days are just contextualized text-book items. Politicians from different parties praise the war-veterans and those victimized by the cruelty of the Paks but thats only thought provoking flamboyant speeches…no one sees liberation war veterans (well not those in political parties) driving a nice car or living in a nice house do they? Instead they beg for food ,drive begging carts, die from want of medicine , medical attention and money…Instead we have a butcher as our agriculture minister, a leading woman who pays more attention to her hair than Gwneath Paltrow and another leading woman who talks about improving education in bangladesh and sends her ‘Victorious’ son to the states to study so that the loo-air of BD cant touch him’

They say picture depict the reality and even the dead can talk through the B/W panorama of a silver-halide photo-strip…so do they?(this is an actual photograph from Rayerbajar-mass slaughter site)

dead-talks

Often some intriguing thoughts come to my mind:-

  • A political party allies with the Benedict-arnolds(betrayers) of 1971 war just to win the election….irony is that half or more of the party members were muktijodhhas
  • A political party comes to power(well came to power) claiming they are pro-liberation dudes….so what did they do?? They allowed India’s Research and Analysis Wing (R.A.W) to set-up a HQ in BD.
  • I dont wanna talk about other parties which consist of a tormented military-sicko with thousands of wives, some commies with no belief in god and some minor bastards like an ousted ex-doc/ex-prez with connection to a military coup
  • So its upto you to decide…..are we really living up to expectations of the dead!! The dead come every 16th December night to haunt me…Mockery is still at ease…….

‘Kee us ne mere qatl ke ba’d Jafaa se tauba,
Haae! Us zood pashemaan kaa pashemaan honaa.

    translation:
Ah! The remorse of the one
    Who after finishing me,
Took the vow never to be cruel again.
    So soon did he repent!
    Bravo!
