Touché….draw your weapon or suffer my wrath
Yeah..another exam finished…another “tiny step for a notredamian…a giant heap of shit for him to counter with.”…Its was my chem-1st paper exam…..the exam was soooo good that I think im gonna cry…”amma”.Really the question was good and the answers were short, the heat radiated(its 42 degree Celsius….man Im hot..whistle now
) inside the exam hall…making our “Mogoj” half-fried-rare chicken broast with fish tacos and burritos. Though things turned out good amids the seventh-layer of hell(yeah farm- gate is worse than that, thats were our exams take place)…
then a long trip back to home….the load-shedding causing paranoia in our already thrid-degree burnt skin….took the newpaper , read some news about how some innocent Dhaka Univ gals were almost raped when protesting, how some dudes who called upon the authority to take necessary measures against unfair aggressions of the student-leaders (suitability for candidature is “leaders”=”pillagers”) were almost bledding to death(and there was no count Dracula there…al least none with fangs..maybe some without fanged-hocky-stick wielding ones) , counted the number of students hurt in the raging battle in which no sort of chivalry or code-of-honour was followed(for the last time ITS FREAKING BD MAN!!!)….how rival student leaders used sticks and stones and really broke bones…how teachers of the “Oxford-of-the-east” were busy fidgeting over personal rivalry(they are highly divided too, most of them either support one political party or another..BRAVO o’ literate doctors of philosophy)….its just pisses me off….ttttraaak scratch that. As long as my way aint blocked I dont care who gets semi-raped(today there was a math problem with semi-molar density, amazing!!!eh), who have their moral structures mortified, how corrupted the so called (and I quote) “The learned teachers of BD who would shape the soft-moulding minds of the precious Bangladeshi students..blah blah blah…i want money…. i have my son reading in University Of Dallas Texas, so i dont care whomever gets screwed in Bangladesh” sorta guys…. please i beg ya ppl dont hinder our work with another hartal or anything…you can rectify your anger and hatred in any cannibalistic way possible…just let me get outta this country with a degree so that i can at least have a job in a starbucks in the middle of times square, NYC. Cuz liberty delineates the incantation:-
Give me your …energetic your poor, your….. talented..masses yearning to bite my shiny metal ass
—- taken(parts of it) from the Gospel of Bender(futurama)
And mutilated(to some extent) by your’s only.
[PS: Who’s the unknow-patronizing-soldier from Colorado, Aurora, United States with a daily visit to my page…and strangely yet true..im getting visit’t from the land of Julkernain(alexander) too…some dude from macedonia dropped by to take a peak at my AHEM! literary work]

Oops…sorry ..thanks for the visits though
BTW what does chiral mean? is it like the “chiral carbon centre” of an optically active isomer? I though your name must have been sabrina(i’ve got a cousin entitled the same)..
Comment by Administrator — June 2, 2005 @ 12:52am
yupp. chiral came from the O-chem obsession … be in some research on this O-chem stuff… you know! that’s why.. but i am also sabrina! actually, i had my real name on my blog, and then went anonymous (semi-anonymous) should i say.

matir moyna banned keno hoise, do you know?
Comment by c — June 2, 2005 @ 6:35am
Yeah…so “the jack of all trade(that is me)” is right again.. i dont wanna boast or anything but im kinda AHEM!! scientifically eloquent minded…havent ever scored less than 85 in phy, math or chem….so the centre of an enansiomar isn’t some unknow factor to me(heeere i go again!!)..Chiral actually means handed..so when its interpreted into bangla it means “Hosti”…and thus suggests something that is a “ruri shobdo”..if you havent forgotten “hosti” also means handed..but is used to depict an animal Huuuuge in size. LOL..
Dont mind though.
And i said b4… many things are banned in BD. Being creative or expressive is a crime…the criminals use prime numbers like 23 or 17 when cutting up their victims into pieces and thus proving how delicate they are about the prime-number sequence. So banning matir moyna was normal….it contained infos about how some madrasas are preaching religious hatred, how religious superstition still reign supreme in BD ….the other reason might be that it caused some stiffle amids the hiearchy of the corrupted authority and its Director had a kafir wife(astagfirulla!!! says so the commander in chief of jamat)…
well thats all i guess.. oh and it was nominated for the oscars…our BD authority cant honour something that has glorified Bangladesh’s name in the international sectors, can it?

hey, you are science student, taking HSC.. you are ONLY expected to know Chirality, right? Or no? I mean, I skipped 11 and 12th grade, so I don’t what they cover there (both in BD and America). But I am thinking they SHOULD introduce you folks (in BD) to these stuff. Here, you see them in the 3rd semester of university with a regular chemistry curriculum, assuming you are a regular student and didn’t take any advanced courses in High school. Organic chemistry is a pre-req for medical school, too. Since in Bangladesh, you go to med school straight outta HSC, I am hoping they teach you all this before they send you off to the hell called med school. Here, you do have to go through a pain of bachelor’s degree (for the most med schools) before you can go to a med school. It sucks.
Anyway, I was just trying to say, I would expect you to KNOW it as an HSC (science)student. or am I wrong? I would be worried if you didn’t know!
About Madrasa… well, it should not have been banned. or, may be it should have been! First off, how do we know that the director was “giving you the true pictures?” I had been actively INVOLVED with quite a few madrasa kids in BD, and rarely seen any ridiculous extremism in them. What I figured is this: we have this poor country, with mostly extremely poor people with to social security for the poor. Now, amidst all the chaos, we have an increasing number of orphans. Mind you: our madrassa= orphanage; deny that? Now these madrassas, mostly funded by the generous arabs are serving as orphanages ( I am not going to get into whether or not the kids being treated well; that’s a different issue). Now these few bad apples (like the director of Matir moyna) will come out of madrassa and say how it advocates “extremism” and we need to close down all the madrassa. Extremism is NOT Islam, and making such assertion without proposing any solution is plain WRONG. Millions of kids DEPEND on these madrassas. Not a single upper class rich bastard gives a damn about madrassa kids in Bangladesh. Therefore, they have NO freaking right to talk like that. And, don’t always trust the OSCAR nominations. I have been living here for a quite a while now (and I had come here before quite a few times too) and these folks are EXTREMELY interested on focusing on the divisions among the Muslims. For example, these bastards went in Iraq to kill (oh no.. to liberate) Iraqis and they want to sympathize with the Shiites. They look for all these potential folks that are talented but bad apples in the bunch and make you believe that they are victims of “Islamic extremism.” Yeah, like, Taslima Nasreen has this full funded research going on at HARVARD! Yeah, like she even knows how to write, eh? Don’t let these fool you! Seriously. Be skeptical, don’t let media get to you too much.

I cant understand the first part of you comment… are you trying to say that we are way advance in educational syllabus in comparison to the west or arent we? Well i think In HSC we read much more than our English medium counterparts reading under international syllabus read…we cover everything from the kanizaro reaction,to formation of adepic acid, detailed structure of starch, D.N.A, optical isomerism, kitones, aldihydes(i hate tolen’s reagent),amines(like benzene di-azonium chloride),alchohols(oh yeah..booze me baby;in methylation),hydrocarbons(the power of three alkane, alkene and alkaine would set us free) to every bit of inorganic chemistry shit under our HSC syllabus.(pardon my chemical spellings its cuz our books are fully integrated into Bengali) There’s so much content that any student from Trinity college might puke over it.
And about media…yeah I DONT TRUST ANY BANLADESHI CREATION TO THE FULLEST…CUZ WE ARE NEVER COMPLETELY RIGHT. I know there are decent muslims in BD(like my mom , the local imam)..i know that there are communist bastards who say there’s no afterlife, smoke pots and takes morphine, thinks drawing naked illustration would set them free of every earthly constraints….but there are parts of the country where extremism is on the rise. Dealing with the west doesn’t have to be violent. We need subtlety and unity…you praise the arabs…I say “Look at them tarnish” they own lavish boats, own thousands of harley davidsons, maintain priceless collection of Bentleys and coopers…but how much do they donate towards real Islamic development? Look at Osama..zarquai…who declared their so called “War on infidals..” killed some “US GI joe’s” but their horrific act has only made it worse for us…it has only tarnished a perception of the whole Islamic ummah that the west failed to realize. Being moderate doesn’t always pay…but when you are a shrewed moderate guy it does…. we shouldn’y imply bodily force…we are ourselves responsible for the re-enactment of the dark-era that looms in today’s muslim world…like in a battle field the priroty is given to air-superiority we should pritorize the concept of education, stratgic employment of muslim masses, theological development of the Muslim people and so on…creating Tri-Nitro-Toluin(T.N.T),strapping it on in an M1-A1 Abraham US tank in iraq might only cause more death of soldiers and more sorrow for their mothers…that is not in my view a way of defending the Muslim rights. Violence is not the option. neither is benignness or naivety…instead swift and shrewd moderate behavior and entrapment of the west in their own economic and social constraints is the only pragmatic way of dealing with the evil. There are many other pointers that I think are absolutely imperative to the reincarnation of a true Islamic Ummah..but this aint the place to talk bout it. In my view Malaysia is the most perfect Islamic nation today…with “We scratch no one’s back..but we are there always to walk the walk and talk the talk” kinda idolism.
Oh what the heck..enough gibberish talks. If i get any chance of going to USA and earning some bucks there, possibly marrying some US citizen (for you know why) i would be happy enough.Us Muslims are too delusional to listen to pep talk anyway.
[PS: Get a book about the “six day war” during the 1967. It was battle which was almost won…then we lost everything because we indulged in “haram” ways of jubilation with ethanol and women. I praise the jew for their stratgical intellect and their survival instinct..none of which us Muslims seems to adhere to. Six day war was lost due to Israyel’s superior “Divide and dictate” policy, due to their hardship , the unity of their men and the unscathed and ardous espionage work of their intelligence burea the “MOSAD”..and some recon help from the west….still now against all the odds when i think of a united muslim ummah…my thoughts seems kinda futile….eh what ever..no one listens to an 18.5 year old x-) }
